So the shadow world is where I am
But just how many layers deep
Is the abysmal darkness
Perhaps some magic pill
Red or blue or white
Or stuff smoked in a pipe
Will lift me from the mire
Perhaps some person in the sky
Will shout my name out aloud
Or unremembered dreams will inspire
And shine a light on my day
This is what I pray
